Can this tree be saved?

I just love it when we can entice / lull / provoke Guy into conversation.

Yeah she's always telling me to lighten tf up; stop being obsessed with tree care. It ain't easy but i do go to the barangrill once in a while.

yOu have seen that movie, right? What was the name again?
 
I looked at the pictures again and am skeptical that the tree can be saved for long. I guess if the customers are old it doesn't need to last long. I think I'd cut it down, turn it into a baseball bat, brand it with a lightning bolt and the name "Wonderboy," or something like that.
Darin, we get a lot of trees like that here in Kansas. I have seen numerous trees in the woods I hunt & on others property like the one in question that have done really well for a long time. But no, you wouldn't want a tree like this over any target of value

If the tree had the right support put in, it would be fine over a lot of targets.

O and it just came to me; the movie was The Natural, right?
