For those who have...how are you rerouting the hydraulic hoses on the grapple? Mine are getting hammered routed the original way, they tend to pinch if I don't always keep an eye on it, and one of them always sneaks its way forward. I think I remember John had pics of how he re-did his, but I can't remember. I thought of something like welding an exhaust clamp under the bollard on both sides and send each one though independently.

I use the hard plastic wrap and I haven't had a problem with that in 350 hours or so.

My hour meter stopped turning yesterday morning at 496.6/7 hours.

And there's enough slop in the quick attach plate and the machine side that the fawking thing keeps falling off. That's gotta change.

Carl,
Your hour meter problem might just be a loose connection or bad ground. Connect the meter terminals directly to a battery. If it moves, then what I said in sentence one is your problem.

Yeah, I figure it's something like that although it's not the one on the battery (making it a PITA to trace).

If the ground is your problem, you are in luck. Just run another ground to the terminal and forget about it. If you are not getting power to the meter, then you have to trace the wire between the ignition switch and the meter or just run a new one.

My hour meter stopped running and it was the + terminal wire that was bad. It had broken off the terminal connector so it was easy to spot and fix.

Woops.

I was playing around yesterday, moving, removing, nothing worked. This simple fix coupled with switching the routing ended up working the best, I have full range of movement up and ALL the way down with no pinching. My bro has a tendency to heel it forward, which is why I also wanted this fix. I just played around outside and it seems it's going to do good. We'll see tomorrow.

Cool, I remember trying a bunch of different places and methods and thinking each machine would be a little different. I got mine right after awhile, hope that works for you. I hated blowing a hose from pinching it when I was 2 towns from the hose shop!
