Well, now that you mention it....I have a link somewhere that I saved for the perfect broom. I'll find it and share it here. Very lightweight, made by a little broom factory in Indiana.
Or I could start a broom thread if this addition would be derailing in any way.
my neighbor used to grow the broom corn and make mini-fireplace brooms to sell. She also used to take corn husks from my field and make dolls from them to sell.
It's not really corn it is a type of grass. The stuff they use to make the broom is like the tassle on corn. It does look somewhat like corn when it is growing.
