Just tune it in like you would normally do .As long as the thing has the "4 cycle " chug it should be good to go .

On that though it might not be a bad idea on a new saw or a fresh rebuild to set it slightly rich for a couple of tanks until things get "broke in " then lean it out and run it like you stole it .

I might add there is more you can do to the muffler besides just pulling the screen .For all intents though it's really not neccessary .For that matter it isn't a neccessity to soup one up either ,they do fine as a stocker .

However being a gear head I do what gear heads do ,soup stuff up .On the super bee I cut the deflecters out of muffler and enlarged both the baffle plate hole plus the rear hole .

Now it runs like a scalded ape but drinks fuel like crazy .As such I'd imagine the average tree man would get rather annoyed having to refuel at about twice the normal rate .So that's something to think about if anyone gets the idea to soup one up .

Cary, this thread was a great idea.
It made me think about getting an extra T200 while they are on the market.

So today I called my dealer, he didn't have any, but called StihlDenmark.

They had ONE left. ONE!

Which I promptly ordered.

The last T200 in the country.

Talk about luck.

Think I will get one soon before it's too late. Didn't try the 201T yet, so I think I will go for another 200T. Cheaper also.

I think really about that.
It isn't wasted fuel if it cuts wood faster.
But, thinking of that, surely faster, but probably not twice as much. The efficiency decreases when it comes at the top of the power curve.

Oh it's fast alright .I don't think though that even being much faster than a stocker it's doubtfull you'd see much difference in a days work .What you would get is annoyed having to fuel it every 12 -15 minutes or so .
