Yes, those teeth are expensive...once you really blitz them there is not much sharpening or shaping them back to something good.

IMO I would be charging a hefty premium to run an Alpine, looks like torture to me. Sure access is the best but at a hefty premium to make me happy.
So how long does it take a guy to grind a 24" stump with one of the AM's.

When clearing cross country right of way we hand chopped stumps for a while. Small ones... up to 3 - 4 inches. Depending on the species size sure matters.

The redwood was the toughest. As natives go I learned their habits well, and could get many out in 5 or 6 wacks. We even had contests on time and the amount of swings it took. Fact, we had contests everyday related to the different aspects of our mission objectives. To wreak havoc where no man has wreaked havoc before!
