Any one ran this saw yet? Had a demo for 2 days & was really impressed with it. I would imagine some might take issue with the carb.
But I find a 60cc saw with 24" bar that pulls well buried in hedge, to be a saw I might not want to mess with as far as amping it out.

One of my favorite saws has always been the Stihl 361 /362. But the 562 if all are like the one I ran are clearly a step above. Slimmer body, with less weight & noticeably more torque.

I wanted to check to see. Like I said I only had it for 2 days. If it had longjevity with out the issues I am now hearing about it would truly be a great saw.

Too bad that if it is potentially such a good saw, they didn't better refine it before marketing. If they want folks to use in their work, that doesn't seem like very good business logic.

Jay, the 2 days I had it I was nothing but impressed with it. But as we know 2 days is not enough time to really tell much about issues that might come up. At around $700 it is just a little more than other saws in its class.
But if all the production models ran like the one I had with out issue & longjevity I would smile paying considerably more for it.

I was with demise of the 200t thinking on making it my saddle saw for dead wood & trims. This saw with 16"-18" bar along with liberal use of a hand saw is some thing I could gladly live with doing thinning & dead woood. But I just a couple of days ago bought 2 200ts & put 2 on lay away & will probably just do what I should have done some time ago & buy a 372.

I bought a 576 a couple years ago. Used it quite a bit. Runs good and no problems. From reading other owners opinions they seem pretty well liked. A bit bulkier than the old 372, but most people have said they are smoother and have more low end.

I put on a chainsaw cutting competition every February and my major sponsor donated 3 new Husky 576XP AutoTunes for the speed cutting events. 2 race side by side and 1 for a spare. Last Feb. one quit idling and the other's throttle linkage was kinked causing the saw not to run because of the 2 barrel carb's linkage not being in sync.
One of them runs perfect with no problems but I haven't heard back from the dealer whats going on with the other 2, they were sent back to Husqvarna. For next Feb. I may get 3 new saws . If thats the case I may make my sponsor an offer to buy the good 576. Good strong smooth running saw that pulls a 32" with lots of authority.

I hear Stihl have MS661 prototypes with strato and autotune out at the moment being tested in the PNW and Minnesota. About time someone is redesigning the bigger saws for a change. Never doubt Stihl in designing a good pro saw. Their track record has been pretty good.
Same goes for Husky.

Andy they seem to have everything sorted out.

Here is a 562xp Mitch has been inside 3 times he said looking for more and testing with a 36" bar this time around. I knew you were looking for light saw because of your back. Heard of them selling for $600 range too ;)

Just a way of testing Magnus. I tested a 32" with full skip on a stock MS361 and muffler mod. It pulled it well in the softwoods but the bar oiler couldnt keep up.

I think guys know not to run their 59cc saws like that.
