Yep Walkers on Jingle Pot Road built some nasty fast saws. Bob built 2 Mac go kart 125cc race saws for my brothers with 34mm carbs and tuner pipes.
But he sure didn't like me showing in his own turf with my race ported Stihl 064 with 084 carb going up against his Huskies in 1988.....he tried to ban me for having a modified muffler. His complaint was thrown out by the judges.
 
I haven't had too much luck putting carbs made for larger displacement engines on modified smaller displacements. It's proven difficult to be able to dial them in to get a lean enough setting. Willard, you're not the first guy that I have read though, that has had success doing it.
 
Walkerized saws were always the standard by which all other saw 'mods' were measured when I worked on the coast.

Jay, you have to open up the ports on the smaller displacement cylinder and make it breath to match the feed of the big carb.
