Done...started fine ran it briefly, all is well again.
Got it hanging up in the garage to see if it leaks any more....Better NOT!

You guys - gal - are awesome. Excellent seeing how this all worked out. These are the kind of threads I keep in mind as something to be able to refer to when I get all balled up on a repair. Good stuff.

Yeah Gary, the feeling of knowing there are experts a few keytaps away is great, I knew I could just jump on here and ask for help and it would come with bells on!
I reckon a few other people could take advantage of those handle assembly photos as well.
Just went to check my saw, no gas leaks overnight with a full tank, so I'm confident the replacement has gone well.
