Anyone here ever have to replace the front shock on a 200T? (The one at the lower left where the handlebar comes back in to the case next to the oil cap). I broke one today, and figured I could find one on eBay, but alas, no such luck. Are they easy to replace or a pain? Are they a dealer-only item?

Easy to fix. Call the dealer. No spare parts-200 lying around?

'Fraid not. Carl just convinced me to get one last year. I must say, he was right about the 200 speeding things up. I need all the help I can get anyway.

Good advice, I'm sure! I take it the "base" of the shock screws out of the case...what took do you use? I didn't see anything to indicate a specific tool (like the forks for Huskys). Do ya just grab at it with pliers?

What saw did you have before?

192s...2 of 'em, one with 14" bar, the other with 16" bar. Still use them from time to time, if I'm not cutting anything big.
