Jack was laboring to breathe. No slobbering. Possibly inhalation.

This guy got some Puget Sound water in him on Sunday, when with his half-time human owner, not with us. Labored breathing and lethagic. Almost went to the emergency vet. Could have been ingestion and/ or inhalation. He got better after a few hours. Next day was better. Tuesday he was ready...

Jack The Dog--- holding the ball in his mouth while laying. I'm unofficially the guy who plays ball... as soon as he sees me walk in the house, he's ready. Lucy the neighbors' dog had a first birthday bandana!

I don't know why Jack The Dog doesn't like me! He took a lap nap for a few minutes, after this, at the end of opening presents.

You may check in with you vet about raised bowls. I understand that it can create a hazard around a twisted gut, which did in my dog, Rupert, many years ago. Dogs are used to eating off the ground. Tall, deep-chested dogs are more at risk. Fast eating affects it, too, IIRC.

Yesterday

Dog sitting. He's a bit nervous and isn't a job truck dog. I took him a mile down the road to my friend Dan's house this afternoon when I took a few hours off to be social.

If people are nervous about a big German shepard, a big yellow, or even moreso, pink bow on his collar will relax them.
