Very nice Tommy. I use gold rings on the retrieval side too. It gives you a lot of peace of mind when you do that last look up and say "I threaded that right, didn't I?" :)

Where did you end up with extra cover? If it was down 5 fids where the butterfly stopper is that does happen to me some times. When zeroing out the cover and core before you start burying things sometimes a bit of cover slack will push into the butterfly if it's not set...
Yea I agree it's not too bad.
I did massage and lightly mallet that one for the last half inch. The cover gets a little tight because with neropes the core goes a full fid down but it's not too bad.
