Today....spent over a year and a half building bridges with people. Then on Tuesday you get the call that you have to be out Friday......I will NOT support you any further. Am I being too rash in my decision? We are crew #x.

In my early days I put my foot on a limb to step up. With that motion I stuck a brand new Bashlin gaff into my knee. I still have a v shaped scar where I kneed the gaff. It was in there pretty far before I knew what I did.

I thought about that too. If it doesn't work out the way I'm thinking it will I can always take it off.

@Burnham we will see. I was doing a crane job last week that this might have helped with. The tree was very vined. Why do you think it's a bad idea?

Definitely a great knot. If you set it right I don't see a need for a stopper knot. All my terminations used to be that. Now I use the scaffold on my safety though.

They were big and blue. Just like my nuts....;-). I don't know what they were good for, but that's what they used to put the counter weights on.

When you ask the crane operator what your good for, and he says 36,000lbs....It will never happen to me again in my life.

got to play with a 200 ton crane this week. Biggest pic in my life! 24,000 lbs. I didn't record much. It was a great day!
