It’t not eating meat, it’s not eating carbs... nothing revolutionary. Plants aren’t very energy dense, not revolutionary. Processed foods are hugely dense in calories, which we’re not very well adapted to appreciate in terms of satiation.

Turned out great! I didn’t have any hot gloves, so I used the forks to mush it. After dinner we ran by the store and picked up 5 more butts at $1.39/lb for the freezer.

Just shy of 5 hours on the smoker to get to the target temp, 75 minutes wrapped and turned up to 350*. Now I’m turning it down to 180* and let it rest a few hours:
Probe 1 is in the meat, probe 2 is under the meat in the grate.
