What To Do With My Ash Bush?

Caveman beat me to it. I was going to suggest weaving it into a lawn chair.

    How'd it go today?

The stuff Milwaukee is coming out with never ceases to surprise me. I don't need a roll groover, but I imagine if you did, this would be a pretty awesome tool to have.

Have you tried the 9" M18? Just curious, I haven't. I have the small Fuel, and yeah, for most of my uses, flap wheel, cutoff wherls, etc.,it's great. Until I need to hog off some steel, then it can't keep up with a corded. We have a 9" corded Milwaukee that is hard to run because it's so...

New used truck I want to make into a chipper truck but has wood board flatbed. Cheapest option?

Seen lots of nice units done up in wood. You could line the inside with puck board to help material slide out as well reduce the breakdown of the wood.

What To Do With My Ash Bush?

Braiding sounds interesting. I'll keep the best sprout as a stem, then maybe try braiding some others.

    How'd it go today?

All my cordless stuff is Milwaukee. They’re ok (ish) but the grinders just don’t have the torque.

What To Do With My Ash Bush?

Don’t use Nair. Buns like crazy.

Looks like bark beetle from here!,

What To Do With My Ash Bush?

Braid the stems together, like the house plants you see sometimes.

Nah, Kyle is right here, dead right. For heavy duty, big boy work, break out the extension cordage and the plug tools. I'll give an example, one that's not so heavy duty, installing steel roofing. A cordless is fine for getting the sheets and such set in place, but for running in all the screws...

New used truck I want to make into a chipper truck but has wood board flatbed. Cheapest option?

@treebilly's truck looks pretty sharp with all the wood. It's not exactly the same, but it may give you some ideas to play with.

What To Do With My Ash Bush?

The ash I removed this year is sprouting like crazy. My original intent was to cull all but the best sprout and grow a new tree. Is there anything more interesting I could do with it?

What's the weather like in your neck of the woods?

It hasn't gotten below 104 degrees (during the daytime) in weeks here in AZ, and it's only going to get hotter. I'm leaving just before the heat really gets insane. I've been monitoring the weather in MA for comparison and I can't wait to be able to go outside and actually climb, or to take...

New used truck I want to make into a chipper truck but has wood board flatbed. Cheapest option?

Do you have pictures? Does it already dump, that would be unusual with a lift gate, although I haven't looked at that market in a while. You can make a chip box out of dimensional lumber and/or plywood. Paint can make it look presentable, especially from a difference.

    How'd it go today?

The "inconvenience" of a cord is pretty overblown for all of the reasons you just outlined. Sometimes you really need a wireless tool, but there's already usually a bunch of volt/amp spaghetti everywhere at most construction and job sites anyways. But batteries are getting more and more powerful...

New used truck I want to make into a chipper truck but has wood board flatbed. Cheapest option?

Recently bought a 2016 F550 6.7l Powerstroke for a really good deal. Just shipped it from california and its on its way to me in Hawaii. Its a regular cab with a 12ft stakebed and a lift gate but the flatbed uses wooden boards. I plan on buying a f550 chipper truck but this has to work until...

Eastern White Pine - Turning Brown

This is about the best I can do for a pic. They're hard to see due to camo. This is a branch that blew out of the tree, and is completely infested. Look at those galleries! EAB isn't even that thorough. They're 1mm-2mm long.

    The Biking Thread

I think mine's a 20 speed, but I don't know the ratio right now. I'd be happy with a 2/3 and/or 1/2 of 1st gear, but I can do wheelies up to around 7th low or maybe 3rd high.

I've got a corded hawg. Haven't used in years, as I have an M18 Super Hawg, which has a clutch in low gear to prevent kickback.

Nobody beats the Milwaukee Hole Hawg (right angle drill). Sent many folks to the hospital for stitches when it popped them in the face. Knocked folk off ladders too. Drilling a 4-1/2” hole overhead with a forstner bit ain’t no joke.
