not using water to clean the asshole is pretty unsanitary and gross if you think about it. smearing it around with TP is not clean. ever try washing your hands with no water? washing your dishes with no water? doesnt work.
their presence has an impact on everyday life. I dont see how anyone in this country could feel unaffected by it. Do you avoid places at certain times? do you have any security on your valuables? the act of avoiding it and protecting yourself from it is a reaction to it presence.
I guess, I haven't been to a part of the states where the effects and aftermath of addiction isn't visible and present. I am sure there are some tranquil pockets here and there. Oregon, from my recollection seemed particularly hard hit from the small towns to the big city.

i was wrong about ibuprofen consumption. looks like france and sweden consume more of it by far. socialist medicine at work maybe.
i think couches, immobility and poor diet is a bigger part of life over here, than in europe. we lead the world by far in knee, hip, and back surgeries. probably in ibuprofen consumption as well. this is not because we do more back breaking work.
