    How'd it go today?

20 years ago when we used to do some roof jobs I measured up a cut up farm house and gave a farmer freind a bid. He told me you pretty much have the job, just going to get one more bid. I told him if it came in lower let me know. Planned on the job. Waited for the go ahead til I drove by and...

We have some flagstones for a sidewalk that are almost covered again. I should scrape them off. You wonder where the dirt comes from. I can back up a wagon behind the baler, but certainly not around an obstacle course. I would like to see the two wagon trick. Pretty crazy.

Yep. Works great. I put an offset front hitch on my pickup. I can back up a wagon load of hay and see by the wagon to see my target. I need to make one for a tractor as well. Backing up a wagon can be frustrating on a bad day. Night time with headlight facing the right direction would be a...

Bad here also. That myth about cold winter killing off things just does not work.

I put frozen cherry, berry, blueberries on bottom. Oatmeal with walnuts or pecans. Nuke and add Greek yogurt. I top with sour cherry concentrate. Most every day. Bob's Red Mill is supposed to have less Round up in it.

He was still in California when we were there. Would have been great. He was posting quite a few pics for a while. Wish he would post more.

We drove up the east coast of the Big Island. Lush rain forest. Over the crest on the north side and boom, desert with cactus. Amazing. Hawaii is a wonderland. Lots of cool stuff away from the popular tourist stuff, although good stuff there too. We were fortunate to explore Oahu and Hawaii.

When I was a kid my sister and I were playing in my dad's 40 something Ford pickup. It had been sitting for a while. I blew the horn and yellow jackets flew out and stung us.

Programming parts is going to become more and more common, unfortunately. Working on our own equipment will be difficult for a lot of repairs. They took the dipsticks out of automatic trannys, now working on doing it to engines. They come up with new dumb ideas daily.

My straight six was probably Agway oil. Farm supplier. We used it for years. I do run Rotella in a couple tractors. They use some oil but they are entitled with their age and hours. I might give Delo a try.

I used to have a Ford straight six. The thing would start ticking to let me know it was time to change the oil. I told my bud that and he said yeah, ok. Showed him.

Thread inserts might be an option. Depending if there is room. I never used them but they look much better than helicoils.

Yup. I have seen those. Quite a while ago they had those.

German engineering can be quirky. Been working on my bud's BMW 30i. You need to recalibrate the transfer case after you change the oil. With special software. $7 or 800 at the dealer.

I find it therapeutic to think up nasty pay back deeds. I never end up doing them. Some kids stole and trashed my car many years ago. Took quite a while to find out who. He had a nice car I was tempted to fire bomb. My ex was doing laundromat getting close to done when the guy walked in and...

My bud has ridden that several times. Old Harley first times. Trike the last times. His wife did it at least once.

Values have doubled here as well, but still pretty affordable comparatively. I read Buffalo was attractive housing wise.
