Geezus , that is always brutal. Best wishes, sir. When the time came for our Lab about 7 months ago, we had a vet come to the house for it, it was a very good and compassionate process, doing it at home. Just saying in case you have any reservations about going to the vet.

Thx B. Yeah, I think Sean has the right idea. Its only been 7 days so far so it's still rather early. I'm doing some better. Also I have 1 Vizsla left, Forrest, so I've been helping both our causes by taking major walks every day which worked out well since I haven't worked this week...

Great pics! @SeanKroll , 'ruff'- I like what you did there! It is crazy ruff on me as it would be on most everybody but I guess I'm getting there. I've done a couple audiobooks re grieving dogs, they've helped some.

Thank you all. It's just a sad time, as you all know probably from first hand experience. As I mentioned above, the vet service that came to the house did a most excellent job on every level. Very professional and equally compassionate. Later on, I wanted to post a 5 star review for them but...
