What's the weather like in your neck of the woods?

I pretty much always cover my skin, especially if I'm working. A loose fitting button up shirt is typically what I do, or one of the sun hoodies that are popular now. The UV intensity is no joke where I live, a lot of skin cancer going around.

What Did Ya'll Have For Dinner Tonight?

Lolz! Last night I very much considered posting my pasta. Rob made a two gallon batch of tomato sauce, with some truly lovely peppers in, so I grabbed some rotini and ate like a king. Rob canned a bunch up in pint jars for me, so I'll post pics when I thaw the next one. If I can stop myself...

What's the weather like in your neck of the woods?

Hot here, hit 85 before noon out in Bear Valley. The heat around here is soooo much worse than back home in AZ. It's the humidity I think, and a different solar intensity.

I don’t know that I ever really read all of a quoted text the first time through reading the reply, it’s just there if I need context. Or if it’s from farther up the thread, you can jump back to the quote to see what was going on there. I remember back when embedded pictures were controversial...

It was to reduce the load on the storage capacity. An other point was to make the page easier and quicker to read, as he said that a whole bunch of quote is quite hard to shalow, like you need to read each of every one to be sure to not miss something (you can't help it), even if you saw the...

    How'd it go today?

The way to trim the strands once set is torch…leave 1/8”-1/4” out. No sharp edges and leaves a ball to resist pulling thru Won’t shove under logs as well as stock or go thru the slider as easy but saved a choker

No ice. I need to get up there and look closer but there may be structural issues from those unhealed cuts and breaks. Unfortunately, removing them would be more than gentle.

Clearance for the road. Structural pruning for bad structure, if present, e.g. a badly included fork may warrant some gentle reduction. You're not looking at freak ice- loading, right?

Coast live oak. Previous cuts are not healing over, not a good sign. Probably weakened, but removing large limbs probably worse.
