    Gaskets arrived at 2:00. I got the fuel system moved to the new head, then had other fires to put out. It's 30* and dropping, so no mechanicing by flashlight tonight. I'm pretty confident I can get it together tomorrow, but we all know about feeling confident.

    It's more a simple split than a barberchair, limited to the very bottom of the log's butt where the hinge is established. The hinge has to be relatively thin to be sure that it works properly, so a full grown barberchair isn't likely to occur. Obviously, more work is needed to get around that...
