Beer but chicken is good stuff. To do the same with Turkey is not going to work so here's a time tested & proven method of keeping your turkey moist.

Instead of filling the cavity with stuffing,(never enough anyway), just place hole onions in the cavity!;) This year we placed two hole Spanish (mild) onions in it along with an apple ...man was that a great tasting moist & tender bird!!! :) HC

cool!
anyone here do the upside down in the oven thing for the turkey? my sisters and my ma seem to think it makes a world of difference.
I find the only difference is remembering at carving time... takes a minute or two to figure it out otherwise, arent there supposed to be breasts here where I am encountering many bones? :? :what: :|:

got me a Canadian lobster in the freezer, might give it a try tonight, strange what you can find in the frozen food section of Aldis..

you should never try and stuff a turkey cavity ,you'll need way to much stuffing, always stuff the neck end.;)

I wonder what these[Candian Lobsters] will taste like under all that ice..

I hope they taste good i've got 6 in the freezer, mind you they were very good value at £4 each

We were supposed to have a 'Christmas' dinner with my SIL and rest of the family....but they just called & canceled til tomorrow lunch. I have the cookies and pie cooling...no biggie.., so I just threw in a very small eye of round roast....samiches tonight.

no lobster consumed here yet but I did get 2kg of crab claws for £13,and they are being eaten tonight, picture to come...

Bugger me thats cheaper than a joint of beef..

If Derek & / or Pete post here I'm gonna punch 'em straight in the arm.

Spareribs, rice, caesar salad and german chocolate cake for dessert. Best of all my MIL made it and sent it home with the Tree Guy.

small steak and big baked spud (and a half, wifey wasnt that hungry so I got her plate to clean up too) with some green beans and carrots.

Dinner ? what's that :P Will probably have a salad with chicken tonight depending on the fridge contents !
