The Official Work Pictures Thread

Thanks Butch!

Wish we had the 40t everyday, Stephen. I'm still amazed what it can do over the 30T nationals. Another 30' of stick on these, too.

I love it when a cut just floats off into space...

Storm work from Monday. Took us all day but avoided bringing in a crane, which would have been difficult without closing the street (permits, bureaucracy, flagmen, euuurk!). Used a DWT with the GRCS and was able to just get it lifted enough to cut the ends off. We had two lines to control each side, so we just sat it down right where it had to go after. 14285482_10155199788873835_905382000_o.jpg 14285748_10155199788738835_164668469_o.jpg 14303816_10155199789008835_521408881_o.jpg 14315667_10208891063185988_2062128731_o.jpg 14329398_10155199788663835_1334306686_o.jpg 14339200_10155199789233835_1759223321_o.jpg 14339290_10155199789533835_408551029_o.jpg 14340083_10155199788628835_2011689080_o.jpg 14360273_10155199789958835_1941017246_o.jpg 14360386_10155199789128835_901256039_o.jpg 14360448_10208891063105986_1141840350_o.jpg

I was perfectly content with my stock 661 and you go and show me this! Now I feel mine is disappointing:cry:

Ain't anything wrong with a stock 661.......till you run a ported one. lol

Awesome hungry saw, Randy. Just curious if you don't mind telling. How much did the compression raise and the rpms from stock? Thank you. Sure got it dialed in to the edge.

I don't mind at all Jay. I raise compression about 30psi over stock. Not too much, I still want it to live a good long life. RPM over stock is tricky on this model. It's computer controled, and RPM limited. What I'm after is more RPM under load.

Looking good Randy!

I thought you might like that Fred.

Took down a few deadlings around the course today. All sorted into brush, stove, and firepit piles. Cleanup tomorrow.

Great work Dave. I think I would like the quiet of the golf course :) Ever have fun with a big shot and some golf balls ? :/:

Probably glad I don't have dead ash out here. Sketchy shat. I guess it's all in what you know.

Ha! No big shot here. I don't even have a top handle any more...just my MS441. It's not a bad gig if you don't mind taking a break when the golfers come around ...I don't;)

No Ash today. Mostly birch and a couple pine. Trims were a pear and a Pine. The taller one by the cart is a Cottonwood...probably take that down tomorrow or next week. Nice variety of stuff on the grounds. Several ash and birch left to take down yet though, and a few pines and apples to trim yet. I'm maybe 1/4 through with the cutting if I'm lucky.

No long-dead ones today...they all cut pretty nice.

Drove by this Hacked up redwood a few days ago, looks uglier in person....Im thinking land-scraper that wants to be a climber got a hold of this red :|::|:

no High vee's or anything near it...should have removed it...
