It's like meditating. I used to go to the bike races at Sears Point in California. Never failed to impress with the racer's riding skills. Intelligent and crazy at the same time.

Speed kills, even on the tracks.

In my current years I refrain from it totally. Though I admit when I was young and stupid I did get a thrill out of it. But seen too many of my friends crash. The lucky ones, I guess, only became disabled for life. The others died.

I don't fathom the need for speed anymore. Especially on public highways. I do the speed limit, plus a little extra to keep people off my ass, and still they keep passing me all the time. In places that endanger both us and whoever is coming down the road.

It's insane on the highways anymore.

I don't want to sound like a sourpuss, but that is the way I see it today.
