Super Splitter

That DR is yet another copy of the super split, wood wolf was the first copy, then DR, then Speeco.

Had not seen the others previously.. Just thought it was a kick. DR laying it out like it is a new thing LOL.
Anyway... I am not one to lift every piece of wood up to split it.

Several times, too. Unless you're dealing with wood that only needs one stroke, you're losing ground to a hydraulic with a multi-way wedge.

I hate to defend the DR, but I do like the lever better then pulling up the knob on the SS. I mean, in theory.

New SS have a lever

That splitter goes through so easy I bet it could handle having a "T" plate welded on top making it a 3 way

Willie, you're just looking for an excuse to say "three-way". :/:

Haha, I did notice there were no knots in the "hardest wood we could find"

So I should get one of each? SS and TW, both feeding a conveyor! I'd need a conveyor feeding me wood too!

I'm looking for a deal on a TW like Willies, that still hurts me. What are they new, 6-10k? (EDIT: Just looked, TW-6 $9,000 base price)

LOL!

My wood is great.

No really, I'm not into chipping big wood. I keep a lot of the smaller stuff, 6" +, even smaller at times. Nice and straight. I've got the bigger wood too, will just handle it differently. I don't want to go big into firewood, I just figure I already gave up a few thousand this year from turning down the firewood calls. I'd like to make a couple hundred cash after work delivering a load, and splitting on rainy days and such.

Not to mention run my house off wood, minus the hot water for now.

'scuse the pun LOL.

The little processor in my videos costs buttons to run, and does all that branchwood type material brilliantly, the circular saw never needs sharpening, doesn't need chain oil or mix, it splits up to 12" 4 ways quickly.

See if you can get one on demo to try.

Firewood for me was always a means to an end; the disposal of wood. There are guys here whose whole business surrounds firewood.

There's no money in firewood here. $150/cord here tops for nice well seasoned wood. That's a real cord though, not what you easterners try and pass a cord by as. Lol.

LMAO

We been getting 225 for oak split and del.
150 for pine
cedar I can get 175-200 on occasion.
I run a pretty heavy cord also.
about 10 percent over.
