Speaking of woodwork and poison plants.... Sometimes urush sap, which is in the same family, will get used as a finish on flooring or other interior parts. I have heard some stories of the inhabitants getting the rash from contact before it was fully cured. It happened to the staff at a nearby noodle place, some folks that never go into the woods.
