Post some crap you might buy for a present! It can be a present for yourself, if you like.

Pretty sure I'm all set for Christmas this year, myself. :D

I don't have a clue what I'm getting the Missus and little Miss yet. :|:

Must be passing those traits on to my boy then! /he is always wanting my tools soooo

Not being a x-mas celebrating person, I don't really give presents.
I do, however, send a box of stuff to some friends in California each x-mas. Beer and chocolate, mostly.
This year I included this devilish beeropener:

Ain't it SWEET! I love eliminating the table, and the vacuum attachment is an excellent idea.

Okay, it's got a cool name. That's what's great about it. Can you even do big plywood with it? It cannot replace a circular saw, as large sheets won't fit in there, plus I have a feeling it would be REALLY slow if you did want to cut something thick anyway.

Maybe it's just me, but whenever a product is offered for "Four easy payments of $xxx..." I get suspicious. Or when they show me all the old standby tools going into the trash. As if!

Professional, expensive, specific tools are the only way to go, imo. To each his own tho!

I've found that all those 'fits everything' wrenches invariably aren't very good. Just like the original adjustable wrench, they sort of fit everything but never fit well enough to work in tough situations. That's the kind of gift a non mechanical person would buy for somebody who is mechanically inclined and it ends up in the bottom of the toolbox and/or sold at the next garage sale.
