I took this photo 12 or so years ago, this is Woody the springer from one of the pubs I used to frequent. I would pick him up from the pub when I'd finished early and take him up to the woods for a walk. He's gone now. But this photo is framed and up in the pub.
A real springer, good gun dog as well.

Play ball!!!

Cheers Jim, I was remembering a story about Woody the other day, I was in a pine plantation walking him off the lead and we crossed paths with a woman with 4 dogs on leads snarling and snapping away, Woody just looked at me and walked round them totally indifferent. The woman said to me "what a wonderful well behaved dog! I wish mine were like that!" I was so proud! He wasn't even my dog.
Stupid things that stick in your mind.

Here's my kid B. I really have no pics of her on my iPad which is what I always visit here with. I'll endeavour to take a couple good ones and put them in the appropriate thread.

I friend brought her new pup over for a visit, and to let it socialize a bit with the big dogs.
Darn' thing was the size of a healthy rat or a small Guinea pig.
Despite that Thais and it really hit it off and soon found out how to have fun together.
Size doesn't matter with dogs.
Then we went for a ride, kids, dogs and all:)

Great pics, don't the big dogs want to run behind the buggy rather than ride on it?

Sure, and they get to when we drive in the forest behind my house where I'm the caretaker.
In the State forests they don't allow dogs to run free.
Mine do all the time when I work there, but I don't want to provoke somebody by letting them run on the forest roads.

Understood, still looks like fun.
My cocker had a bit of a set to with the clients Labrador today, at 10 years old the rules are clear. "I don't want to play!" And "I have first refusal on all sandwiches"
No harm done though.
