Here I thought you were posting your opinion of my modded saw I let you try. Bummer your saws really suck.

flat head slot. Here's a pic from ass site. see where that small hole is...that's where the pin gets drilled so you can screw the adjuster out more. Another pic of the hole drilled in the exhaust.

The 201 has a rod that limits the screw from turning out. You have to drill it out, easy peasy, 1/8" bit I think, tad bigger maybe. Can get a pic if ya need it.

I'll bring it down next week possibly, I think I'm headed that way

Cory, You'll have to take my 201 on a test run on a job. Don't worry I wont need it, I have three 200's hanging out home :P I ran it today and feel a noticeable difference from the muffler mod. I want you to verify this for me.

So, I def. muffler modded mine yesterday. Added another hole in the muffler as a suggestion from another site. Drilled the pin out of the the high speed jet to get full adjustment. It's hard to hear it four stroking though as that's almost the sound of the engine anyways. It def. cuts better...

Interesting! I haven't used mine since the scary random high idle incident. Will make a note of that next time.

Cory, If you want I'll let you smell the box of a new 200T. :) No Orange saws in my trucks! Give it a couple weeks until it starts zapping you :|:. Do they still have that design, with the spark plug at the back?

I should mention my random high idle to my dealer, probably way out of "warranty" now though.

Im not sure that'd help, Brian. It's totally random all of a sudden. Starts random, will stop and run fine. The saw still cuts good, just get's dangerous during high idle time.

I agree with that, Cory. Mine just starting doing that high idle, very dangerous. I looked at my shinny new 200T in the box in my attic the other day, just can't get myself to put it into service.:P I heard the high idle happening with a lot of people, though.

I said to myself Cory's going to be posting how he hates the saws after he gets them. Shoulda bet money on it. They sure are sluggish at first, but pull the spark arrestor and just run it. You have to run it through wood, it'll never open up otherwise. I have to say, yesterday mine started...

Dude that sucks Cory. I'm with the run it like you stole it procedure with the break in. Just from my motocross background, just seems to go with everything for me now a days.

Justin, not sure what to tell you, and in reality I don't care which saw you use. I can say my 201 is a strong runner with having just pulled the spark arrestor. Maybe you'll finish your jobs 11 minutes faster than me because your using your 200t. I'm very impressed. ;)

I know. Mine cuts great, I have a brand new 200t in the box, and two older ones. Still using the 201.

Where in CT you from, Gary? I used my 200T all last week. I'm sticking to my claim that the 201T has better feeling doing the one handed thang!

    MS201T

Lol. I know I know. I just don't think the 201 is all that bad. But who doesn't want a 200T in the attic anyways?

    MS201T

I'm still saying the 201 is not that far off from the 200T.

The one I ordered was supposed to be a 200. I guess after the hurricane they went quick. None left here.

I haven't used my 200t since I got the 201. I just feel the balance ergonomics is nicer.
