    Yea very good points. We use our port a wrap the most.

    Yea, but you can just run a two man crew with a loader. I agree the grcs is nice to have when you need it.

    Is grcs becoming a thing of the past? I think it is because you may use it 4 or 5 times a year. I think it is better to invest in a mini skid with a bm(branch manger) then a rope break for your big removals. The mini skid could do a lot more than the grcs and it will speed up production.     Yea. All of our stuff is diesel, well except for the chain saws and blower. We are friends with a diesel mechanic, so once I'm older I'm going to try and see if they will give me a spot on the night shift 2 or 3 nights a week, I'm sure I could learn a lot that way.

    Yea, I'm going to this school this year for half a day called locust trace, and I'm doing a program called ag power and mechanics, so I'll be learning small and large engine mechanics

    That he does, he is the best guy on the crew, I'm told I'm the second best, my dad says he's going to miss me working with them, having me working sped up production, but now with the machine they should be just fine

    Yea, if I don't do tree work I'm going to do something with heavy equipment. I love operating equipment and working on it, I just find it more interesting. I think I'm going to stay in tree work though, I want to help expand the family business and help it grow

    Yea, I'm finding that out. Just can't wait until I finish high school so I can work full time. Going to be the company mechanic/groundie. It's amazing how a machine and a good crew can speed up work.

    Been doing it all my life, I'm 15 and love it, I'm sure you all know my brother. I think most of it is due to fatigue, and thanks for the help, Also I'm just a groundie, I climb ever now and then. I just like doing ground work more
