Climbing saws like all other gear and techniques in this business are unique to the individual. Post pics of your primary climbing saw. I know what we are going to see a lot of for sure. Let me be the first.....

How do you keep your saw so pristine Tony? Mine gets all scratched up, sorta like Butch's, 'cept mine still has a brake. :D

Is that your first? It's nice and pretty, like the ones on the dealer's shelf. Mine get used and abused like high dollar whores.

Finicky? Mine's been a trooper. Did you put a Yankees sticker on it or something?

Well between you and I, (and I suppose everyone else on here) I am a Red Sox fan. My own family rejects me..lol.

That little red saw looks pretty new, must have really disliked it to buy another saw already.

Actually I have had the Jonsered for over a year. It has seen some good use. I just keep my saws clean. I suffer from a minor OCD when it comes to my gear and tools. Every weekend the saw gets blown out, wiped down and so on. They are expensive tools so I like to make sure they keep making me money with as little down time as possible. I know it may seem weird, but that's me.

I have owned and used the 338XP Husky. The Jonsered is nearly identical, but does seem made better. More solid and they finally fixed the spark plug cover. Unfortunately though, the power of the 2139 is consistent with that of the 338.
