Tonneau Covers

I'm sure it can be wired, but even unwired all the effort to bust it open would set off the car alarm.

It is most likely no problem to do. My topper is wired at each door/hatch with some standard N/C magnetic door contacts. For a Tonneau cover use one or two contacts mounting on the side and one at the tailgate.
