I am trying to find a carb for my bg55. I pulled the old one off and can't really make out the part numbers on it. It's a Zama and I think the number is S63B 606A however that number never shows up in any of the cross reference sites. Does anyone know what carb fits those blowers?

Any of those will work? I didn't realize there were so many different carbs that would work. Thanks.

Stihl.

There are more.. Most will work. Linkages are different on older and newer.

What is wrong with the carb you have?

The blower just runs like crap. I assume it's the carb because we tried just about everything else. Fuel filter, air filter, spark plug, etc. We have 3 of them sitting on the shelf right now. I figured it's worth a shot to try it on one blower to see if it works. All 3 run the same right now and are only good for blowing grass clippings.

Blower carbs get about as fussy as saw carbs, maybe more so .They might sit unused for months at a time and things get stiff .A Zama C1Q is a relatively easy carb to rebuild but a word here .

With Zama you have to get every letter and every number correct when ordering a rebuild kit .The newer rebuild kits come with a mylar type material for the check valves which is more robust when dealing with ethanol mixed gasoline than the previous buna-n type .
