Spark plug

Lets say it cost $2.
A new 346 saw is here about $1200US.

That is 600 plugs. Change every month and it is about 50 years worth of plugs.

 Much ado about plugs .---but speaking of which I'll soon have an order in for carb kits I always seem to need and since this subject arose I'll add half a dozen plugs on the order .The way I go through plugs that should last me for the rest of my life --if I don't misplace them .

Well yeah on that seldom is it the igniton ,most times fuel delivery .

Even on a modern auto engine with ignition system upwards of 50-100 thousand volts they seldom fail .

Really??? I wonder how much that has added up to, over the years VS whether or not it was even necessary.
When I was logging and changed my saw's plug every 2 weeks whether it needed it or not, I would throw the old one into the bush as far as I could throw it.
That way I'll never see it again and I don't feel bad:lol:

It is a very cheep insurance to get.
Saves a lot of grief and unwanted trouble and risks.

It makes you money taking care of your saw.

I would throw the old one into the bush as far as I could throw it.
That way I'll never see it again and I don't feel bad:lol:
One can't help but wonder what if the one chance in a million the discarded plug would land in the crotch of a sapling to be rediscovered at a later date in history .

Then they could pull some of Willard's DNA off of it and clone him. He'll be a saw rebel in the 23rd century.
