Has anyone seen this brand of skid steer before? I have heard of the engine manufacturer before but I dont know anything about them. I am not really interested in buying this, but honestly, a little loader like this would be perfect for our company. I hope to get a mini some day but something like this would probably work as well.

I'll be honest, I see that machine as rather weak for its size and weight. However, if that package could be had for $3000, I'd bet it would be worth it. That's a mighty low investment for something that could lift 800 pounds. Parts might be a nightmare to get.

Why not look for a mini? My Boxer 427 claims 900 lb lift, but I have had 1200 up without any extra weight( I only clock in at 190). I have a few friends who dabble in rebuilding those old skidsteers and like Tuck said parts are either hard to find or made to order. It took me a long time to bite the bullet on a mini, but I have not had a day yet that I wonder why. Good Luck.

I would avoid something like that with a brand name you've never heard of before. The hassle and down time associated with the first breakdown will cost you more than the savings over buying a better built, better known brand of skid steer. And the guy doesn't even know what he has so he's reselling it looking for a profit. Parts for the Onan will be nonexistent and anything on the machine will either need to be matched up or custom made.

I'd get a hold of TNT Dave on that one .If anybody would know about them I'd think he would .800 pounds lift though sounds a little whimpy to me .

I totally agree with you all about staying away from nonamers and it's good to know about the engine, however the compact size is exactly what catches my attention. I don't think 800# is too small for the kind of work that we do. If and when the time comes for us to get a mini, I will buy the absolute smallest one that I can find.

THIS!! RUN away and save your money!!! I have some problems finding parts for the Thomas, but I'm resouceful and get support from here! You wont get that with that machine, and it's over priced!
Send a PM to tnttree and see what he has for used equipment and save yourself a ton of heartache!

I am not really in the market right now. I have a CL app on my phone and i have loader qued up. I like doing that for a while before I buy something. That way if I do find a killer deal I can jump on it, but at the very least it's a good way of doing some research. This one came up and it just seemed interesting to me. Next year we will be looking at getting a new chipper since our other equipment will be paid off. My guess is that around that same time is when we will start looking at mini loaders more seriously. I will make sure to pm Dave at that time..... Thanks for the tip. I would have just looked locally and he is not even that far from me.

It looks like a kit ( as in build it yourself ) skid steer to me. A mini is what you seek, small is nice but don't get the smallest or you will end up cutting more wood and having just that much more to clean up = less profit and more time on the job.

The list of manufactures of skid loaders is almost endless .Most did not survive long though .

Nothing made by human hands is impossible to repair but if a person has not the resourcefullness or the knowledge to be at the mercy of a repair faciliy could prove more costly than the purchase price .

Something like an Onan engine would not be a problem .They made thousands of them and most likely a pan cake Briggs mower engine would or could be retrofitted to work .It's the rest of the drive line components that would cause you grief

If that thing were in the thousand dollar price range, maybe but not at that price .
