Ya'll got daily or some what regular routine when it comes to your saws. I have worked with some guys that don't do anything to them until something goes wrong.
I touch up the chain daily before I go out on a job and as needed and a complete cleaning weekly.

Not really a routine in so many words .Most generally I make sure the chain is sharp before I park them on the shelf in the shed .Ready to go for the next time .

I'm not as good at blowing the chips off as I should be but it gets done every so often .

My daily routine usually beings with a good old fashioned dump 1st thing in the morning, gotta get that all cleared away before begining any kind of work!

I fight for coffee over the kids....
They wake me up... Lilly usually wanting milk and cuddles. Then I crawl back into bed for a bit. Then I give up and get up cause the kids are hounding me for breakfast. Then I get my first cup maybe.. Finish breakfast and get my second cup locked in the bathroom as not to be pestered. Check the forum.... Then check what saws we want for the day (they were put away rode hard and wet  ) blow out the saws and head to work.. I often sharpen at night.

I sharpen when they need it, clean em when I have the side cover off, tap out the filter when I fuel them. I don't baby my saws, I make em earn a living

It wouldn't be a bad idea to periodically check the bolts .I suppose most do as I and think about that about the time the bolts rattle loose .Guilty !

Like when Stig said, "your chain is loose", I decided to finish flopping the tree and of course threw the chain promptly:lol:

Notice that I have been polite enough to refrain from bringing that up?

Well you notice the chain riding about an inch over top the bar you'd better do something quick .Pull it out it will derail most of time .Stop it in the cut you can save it .Took me a while to figure that out .

Not a bad idea to cinch down the cylinder bolts once or twice during the saws lifetime, that is if you can get to them without a whole lot of taking apart. Once or twice isn't really a routine though.

Yeah I do that after a rebuild and a couple days running .Some times you can crank a little more on them after that .The Stihl vertical cylinders are easy to get to and the Macs never loosen up .Of course the later has 8 bolts holding the clam shell togther .

Have never put a saw away in the back of the truck without topping up the fuel and oil and touching up the chain before putting the scabbord on. Only have to tap the MS200 and 338XPT air filter regularly. The Husky 346, 372 and 395XPs with their air injection is only a monthly air filter cleaning thing [every 2 weeks at the most] which is a bath in hot water and dish soap finished with a clear rinse under the tap, hair dryer to dry them.
I love that air injection:)
