You did. But ISO 100 is just one stop faster than 50...and the ratio continues. so the numbers get big quick.....

1600-3200-6400-12800-25600-51200-102400....

and the new full pro 1DX goes to 204800!!

If I had a 1.4 lens, I could prolly shoot in dang near darkness.....

That makes sense. How big is one picture at full resolution.. in terms of MB
A raw file is usually about 22 mb..but can hit 30 if there's scads of detail in the image throughout....

I got 14 shots of this heron who took off as I got too close....for the second time..... I like the dark barnacle encrusted background, with the two "portholes".

Wow, Roger..that is a very fine picture...the colors, details, light and lines are wonderful. That should be entered in a contest somewhere.
