Pruning - Remove Every Leaf From Black Walnut

The non fruiting(human useful) cherries around here can take a beating, and recover super quick. Not sure about the fruiting cherries. Mine died a couple years ago, and I didn't fool with it much.

I'm not real clear on what cherry is what, and how to tell them apart. Some fruit, some don't. Some are broad and weeping, others shoot towards the sky... I'll have to spend time at some point learning what the various cherries are.

That was probably some of the problem with mine. It was also heavily shaded by the walnuts and pin oak. The soil around here sucks. It would never pass a perc test by modern standards.
