Looks like the next generation TreeFlex harness has surfaced in Germany?

New Treeflex

Quite pricey too; the first generation was running an average of 195 euros ($277).
At current exchange rate the new one is $506.42

Cary: I saw that Treeflex over a year ago on the web, don't think it is new dude ;) just a different colour ;)

Pat: Darn Cary, you sure know how to burst a guy's dream bubble! I was so hopeful it had been updated with beefier leg straps and a better buckle design...

Awwww dude, I know it sucks, but You needed some tough-tree-love to snap you out of the lust ;)

Treeflex harness ordered; awaiting word on final bill including shipping. The 'Gear Lust' will not be subdued (at least, not for long)
;)

I like the original blue and green. To bad the website does not give a close up of the buckles - that is the only thing that they can change that for me would be sweet - the BF11 have a nice easy on the hands buckle

Tracking number from Honey Brothers in hand... won't know the color until it gets here as I didn't ask Leon about color.
I like the original colors just fine... black's okay, too.

"Newark, DE, United States 04/15/2011 7:18 A.M. Item is 'On Vehicle' and Out For Delivery"

The question of color will be answered by this afternoon...

I am a bit excited for you. I received a new hand saw yesterday so I am happy for now. Still, never really "fixes" the need for gear. Hope you got the black one. I still have not ordered the one from in country that you sent me a link to. I am happy to hear that they still make them and we are able to buy them.

Pete

The Treeflex arrived and ... it is the same green/blue/black as before. Looks to be the standard issue.
I am very happy with it, and it has satisfied that 'need for gear' for the moment.
I am working at downsizing my kit to a minimum, so i can travel light in June.
Three states to traverse, remote sites to hike into, and the airline restrictions...

Oh, I know about UPS and their friends Fedex and DHL.
I shipped my climbing gear out to CA in March 2010 for some climbing.
This trip I want to keep it with me as I'll be climbing as I head from WA to OR to CA.
