I have run skip chain for many years, can't remember my last roll of regular chain. At least 8-9 rolls of Stihl 33RSF before my current roll of Husqvarna X-Cut skip chain.
Just a short report back on my new-to-me 026...with the new chain as mentioned above, it cuts pretty darn good. Better than with that crappy safety chain, for sure. Better than good, for $20 . Like with many internal combustion engines, it is starting and running better after being used some rather than sitting on the shelf for years.
If I wasn't still so in love with my old rear handled MS200, I might have a new favorite everyday around the property chainsaw .
I remember when you got that 200. Maybe Milwaukee will make a rear handle version of my top handle so I won't get so much crap for using it on the ground. Not that that stops me.
