I hope this isn't violating any rules or anything but my daughter likes to knit scarves and hats and whatnot and has opened a online store selling the stuff. So if you want to get your woman some handmade knitted stuff it can be had at:
loisellen.etsy.com

That's cool Steve. I like her designs, she trying new ideas as well as the tried and true.

Thanks OM. Yeah, she is experimenting sometimes. She just started it today. Hey I figured out the renaming thing for the links. Thanks Paul and MB.

Cool. I remember selling tie dyed wrap around long skirts with peasant tops to the housewives in my neighborhood back in the 60s. I couldn't believe how much these women would pay for a simple handmade outfit. I did it door to door, can't imagine how I would have made out had there been the internet back then.

Good luck to your daughter!!

no discount needed Ste, we all wanna make a buck. :)

Just a fair deal, thats all I ask for. :D
I usually pay with Paypal on Ebay and such, does she have the capacity to accept that? Otherwise shipping rates are the next limiter. :)

You can buy it right on that site Paul. Just click on the thing you want and then the next page has a "add to cart" button and I think you have to start an account with etsy to do it. They say you can pay with paypal or credit card.

That's cool Steve. I'm well covered by my ma though. She's a spinner/weaver/knitter. Handmade products are such superior quality to what we're used to it's not even comparable.

If any of yous guys want to contact her for something special I can send you her email address. Contacting through etsy is a bit of a PITA.

I think it would be helpful if your daughter showed the types of payment she accepts, and the shipping policies, before you put something in the shopping cart. Does she ship international...? All the basics up front, helps make for continued interest all the way to checkout. Attention spans are brief for a lot of people web shopping.

In any event, I hope the site is a success.
