Mulching your saws?

At present I keep a scrap of rag floating around the toolbox base to smear any accumulated excess plus wipe any spillage/overfills. If I were to try a more advanced system it would be a thick towel underneath some lattice.

What about a natural oil absorbent made and marketed for that purpose. Good ones burn with minimal ash residue.
