Exactly, it was a 2005 dirt bike off the line and was made legal.

There's a great ktm web page that has exploded views, part #'s and Order forms online.
So next time I'll be looking for that.

Does your friend have crazy fun on his?

I love it.

Jumper wire from a good spot on the frame or motor to the problem item.. In your case the head light and tail light housing (if it is metal) or the bolt on the housing. If the lights work ok... bad connection to frame somewhere. Same idea pretty much with the rest of the system.

Excellent way to isolate the problem.
I will say with the brake light issue that your switch is gone or there is a loose conection there. The front switch if that is "inline" it is prone to lots of vibe and movement. my bet is on the brake switch front or back, let us know of the outcome.
Nice ride though good thumpers!

Picked it up today, so happy.

100 bucks, to replace the power wire that runs through the harness front to back.
I doubt I would've figured that out.

Brake light and everything is a Go.

Thumbs up and Rubber down. as they say.

So it was not pin pointed? I.E broken wire in a specific spot? Glad all is well and 100 is not much for the potential time it may have taken. Enjoy the riding!

No Florida, no money.

Next race I'll be doing is Southwick Mass 338. Just signed up last night.

Wow, I feel like I just signed up yesterday.

Race is this weekend, 4 months went by quick. The start of the riding season started late this year, snow/mud. Last two weeks haven't been favorable for training either, rain rain rain. We really need two days of riding this week, for this weekends race. I already have plenty of butterflys.

Anyone else been riding?

Anyone else been riding?

Finally getting some decent weather. The roads should clear of sand and gravel soon, (the corners are always slow to clear) can't wait to really scrub-in these new tires.

Broome is awesome, I might be doing an open practice June 19th. I'm not sure about the other.

Got home last night, had a great time racing Southwick. I took a 3rd, a 4th, a 5th and a 7th. 3rd overall in one class, and a 6th in the other. No broken bike, no broken bones, and a good time with friends.

Came home with a plaque, two pairs of grips, and Ashly won me a nice hat.

The Dirtbag challenge is ramping up for October.

Here are the rules.

Warning 8 minutes long with no editting.

I took the bike out yesterday for lunch/ parts run. A lil shower came through while I was at lunch... Growing desire for a car again.

Bikes can suck in the rain if it's the only thing you got.
I suppose in parts of the country where it actually rains/snows,
they are more of a seasonal thing.
