i ride in old german moto - mz ts250/1

but in this summer I'll have K750 - lovely soviet moto :)

KG, that's a beautiful bike! My Ural is my main ride, but I had been hearing so much about the XT250 that I thought I would give one a try. Really fun little dual sport. Light weight and nimble with enough power for this old man.
Oh yeah, and 80 miles per gallon. :P

I never really had an honest to goodness trail bike .When I was in Conn while in the navy I did have a 250 Indian scout though .That damned thing would only do about 80 in high gear ,72 in third and 60 in second ,nearly 40 in first .

It was a hoot to woods ride though .Only 16 HP and about 250 pounds .

Man, I like that Ural.

Well, they're old and tough; definitely old school. Probably would be a good fit! 8)

What are you waitin' for?

I did see one fella in the UK took the sidecar off and put a boat on instead. Might be useful in your neck of the woods.

I haven't rode lately, been a week and a half. They ruined the local track by making it "safe" for all. AKA-flat straight aways, no jumps, and 90 degree turns every 5 seconds. Not a good track for a 450, let alone a 125. We snuck in the local sandpit the last time we rode, it was a blast. Unfortunately the DEP likes to jump out at you, considering it is illegal to ride there. :) I wish I was rich, buy a nice piece of property and make my own track how I want it. Just a dream.

Went to Colorado for a few days.
9500' elev and up kicked my butt. But it was great riding. The highest we got was 10,330'. Camped at 9550.

It was Great.
But next time I may take O2 with me.
It got to the point when some one crashed you would decide if you could ride to them instead of walking.
The key was to hit your line right! When that failed, PIN IT WIN IT didn't hurt ether.

Four got stuck on a rock shelf in this picture. I am waiting at the top for them. A 1/4 mile earlier they where yard saled all over the trail also. I can happily say I road that trail clean both days.:)

I don't know what any of that means :drink:

Sorry, let me try to explain it better.

But next time I may take O2 with me.
We needed more oxygen, the air is too thin for us sea level folks.

The key was to hit your line right!
Just like driving a 4X4 up a rutted trail and missing the potholes and rocks.

When that failed, PIN IT WIN IT didn't hurt ether.
The throttle is your friend, use it and hang on.

A 1/4 mile earlier they where yard saled all over the trail also.
Crashed hard with bikes and gear laying all over. Looking like a bunch of junk at a yard sale.

I got a new ride the other day. 2007 CR250. Last year of the 2 smoke. It looks right at home next to its big brother 2005 CRF450X and little sister CRF50. I will get a pic of the line up later today.

 got it! Pin it win it makes sense, we do the same snowmobiling, some things cant be done slowly!

That just aint' right. Snowmobiling and slowly should not be in the same sentence.
Big adrenaline, big rpms, big mountains, big balls, and feeling like your going to die at any minute. Gotta love a sport like that. I'm a novice, meaning I borrow one of my buddies "slower" sleds.:\:

Added a single track bike to the line up.
08 Husky with a 300cc P/C kit on it. And the magic button also.8)
