I mean, I presume it has it's issues, but I don't know of any of em except maybe too much clear cutting up north, but maybe that is under control, when FBs came out and got popular, I think clear cutting got excessive.

But I'm a tourist and a fan, Ruel knows the real deal, and I too would like to hear his perspective.

Btw I like Buckin but I don't follow him super closely. I would say he is quite positive in outlook but are you saying he sugar coats stuff?

Love the Maine humor Fi, that's a good one. Maine is absolutely beautiful, sometimes I can forget. I have a lot of mixed feelings about the state right now, feelings of awe and wonder and loss and abuse/ exploitation. Might get inspired to elaborate later.

I feel that way about Michigan. Its a gorgeous state, but at the same time its an ecological disaster zone. Its depressing to try to imagine what it was like 130 years ago before all the trees were chopped down.
