We have all seen the "Free Firewood" ads on Craigslist.

You know the ones where the stupid homeowner wants you to take down the huge maple tree and clean it up for the firewood?

Well, I am thinking about answering one with a simple signed agreement that we are not responsible for lawn damage, ect (simple stuff).

I have a truck thats not marked with company signs.

Part of me wants to hook chains to the tree, and just lock the truck in 4wd and tear ruts all over the lawn trying to pull it out. When that doesn't work maybe we will chip the brush and broadcast it 360 degrees' around someones front lawn (trying to fill the gutters of course).

Sound like fun?

It's a fun fantasy but nothing good could come of it.

It's like dumping a load of logs and mulch into someone's driveway when they refuse to pay you. It sounds like a good idea at the time, but courts tend to frown on that sort of thing. I know.

Do it do it do it.....like the kid who listened to Judas Priest say that so many times over and over on a record, that he took a shotgun and blew his face off.

Side note: The kid's mother tried to sue Judas Priest.
