Oh I suppose "Dremel " is as missused as "Cresent " wrench .Lawdy I've got a monster die grinder with a 3/4" air hose and some people call it a Dremel .That SOB will break your damned hand if you hang it up ,unlike the itty little actual Dremel .There is no way you could control that monster to do intricate work on a saw cylinder unless you had arms like superman .Fact is a 5 HP compressor pumping into two 60 gallon tanks will only keep enough air on it for about 5 to 10 minutes .--auction find of course ---:D

I like John's Boob job 044 method. Horse rasp and other misc hand files. Ran pretty dang good with a scored piston and all.

An actual Dremel is an electric powered mini die grinder . If you have an air driven die grinder the only way to control the speed if it's not built into it is with a needle valve flow controller in the line to reduce flow, not pressure .If you take an air grinder and cut the pressure to like 30 PSI it won't have enough grunt to trim your toe nails .

well i guess i'll have to find a other one but that won't be to hard to do i found this one on e-bay and i snatched it with a Buy it now at 90 bucks. and then went to lowes and homedepot and got every bit i could find.so I'll look on e-bay and see what i can find on there and hopefully it will have some bits with it.

An actual Dremel by brand name is around 85 bucks .Comes with a few bits, case etc . There are cheaper brands which would probabley work . I've got three Dremels myself although I can only find one at the moment which comes as no surprise .

If you get a selection of cutters ,bonded abrasives like Cratex, some felt polishing fobs ,a few stones etc. it doesn't take long to have a couple hundred in the mix .

Now that's a cheap route .You get into to higher end stuff like Dunmore flex shaft grinders and the like you could amass a couple thou in the mix .

On the other end you can actually rework the ports with nothing more than a couple of round files and a bunch of sandpaper although it would take a month of Sundays to get-er-done .Fact is just for giggles I did a clam shell 46 cc Poulan that way just to see if I could .It came out okay for a clam shell .
