Insect Identification

Any help identifying these critters?

Thank ya. No killing these. This was at Indian Head MD. No getting out of the boat there.

You don't have boxelder bugs out your way? They seem to occur in pockets around here. If you got em, you really got em. They come in the house when fall comes, and get everywhere. They seem fairly harmless. Just annoying.

I remember one year at my folks house there were tens of thousands on everybody’s house for the summer or fall but I remember it being hot and dry.

They like to hang out on the windows where the sun is shining.

I keep a little hand-vac charged & suck them up regularly on warm days.
