Never read that or even heard of it.
I'll go talk to my librarian. Getting books from the library is a great way to get something back from my taxes.

I read it as a youth -- it's by the author of The Black Stallion. I read a few of those horse books in his series but then got on a dog track, so I read Thor, the Great Dane, Jack London's books, Old Yeller, The Lemon Meringue Dog... man, I was a total bookworm!
