I have the Verizon Casio Gzone phone thats shock, water, and dust proof. Dont have the funds to put it through a that kinda hell, but I've made calls from the bottom of swimming pools, dropped it at least 20 feet, used it in the shower, and had it plenty dusty and its still good as new. I've always had pretty small Verizon flip phones and they've all held up at least three or four years.

Any of my pics for the last 3 years have been taken on my cellphone. My current Nokia N95 has a 5mp camera.
Speaking of Buzz, here he is...

I have a Verizon GZ,1 Boulder, made by Casio.....it's about the same in water and shock resistance. I've dropped mine many times, no worries.

The catapult test is cool, but the watermelon prolly absorbed much of the blow. phonescoop's tests show how good ruggedized phones are.

I bought this Nokia 6250 in 02. It has spent the last seven years in my breast pocket while I have been logging or climbing.
Nokia claimed that it was impact resistant and waterproof, and they didn't exaggerate.
It has fallen out of countless trees and last summer I accidentally ran it through almost a full cycle in the washing mashine, when I forgot to take it out of my pocket before washing my shirt.
First thing my wife said, when she picked it out of the washingmashine and shook the soapsuds off was: " someone has sent you an sms"
Now the little thingie that holds the back on is broken, so I have taped it together. It reminds me of those old Timex ads: "takes a licking and still keeps ticking". And btw, it still runs on the original battery, too.

When it finally goes of to the secret graveyard of old cellphones to lay down and die, I think I'll buy another Nokia.

I want the Casio gzone phone like ewsa. My problem is, I have at+t which used a sim card, and I don't think the casio does. What cna i do?

The Casio is a Verizon phone. AT&T offers the Motorola Tundra and the Samsung Rugby as tough phones.

Nokia makes a good Phone Stig, and the N95 is a BADASS phone, with a killer camera, but I don't think it would hold up to me. My N75 is already becoming unhappy with me!!
The old "brick" Nokias were awsome, I used to use them. Unfortunatly Nokia and AT&T don't get along all that well anymore, and since AT&T, and most other cariers are going to it now, switched to GSM we have lost the ability of using them:cry:

My last 2 phones are Nokia and I've been with AT&T for years.

Yes, they probably have been. My point is if you look at Nokias website, and see all the kick ass phones they have, then see which ones are compatable with AT&T, I think you will be suprised.
AND they have not made a phone as durable as the original brick in some time, and it sucks you cannot use them on AT&T anymore.
