I was just told by a shop mechanic that the reason for the Stihl not performing up too standard- is the result of a faulty governor.

Under load -this governor is supposed to shut off, allowing for extra power to finish the job. He said Stihl has or is fixing this soon.

I asked what about the three on the shelf for purchase— he said not to buy them, they're for shit.
