Al, I remember you mentioning before how hard starting the 2100's are, but mine have been great starting saws. I wonder why your experience is different. Just something about the carb maybe?
I got on to it finally .On my Stihls I choke them until they fire then get off of it .That high compression pot licker you only pull it over once with the choke set .Get off the choke and it'll normally lit off in maybe 3 after that,cold start .Warm it takes right off .
It does have a suspension system on it BTW .I haven't noticed it vibrating all that bad .My larger saws see more time on the shelf than in the wood .It is nice though to have them if you need them .
